What do you do if you hate your job? You have three options: you can stay and suffer, you can look for a new job, or you can change the way you view your work. The best choice is to focus on yourself and what makes you happy. This way, even if you’re still at your job that you hate, at least it won’t feel like torture. Remember, no matter how bad things get in life, there are always choices and a way out if we look hard enough. You can always choose happiness over misery.

Escape From The If Only Scenario

Once you can see what’s really going on, it’s time to make a choice. Is there anything about your job that’s really not so bad, and if so, how can you take advantage of it to make your life better (even if just a little bit)? And if you can’t find anything that makes work enjoyable for even a few minutes, then it’s time to start thinking about other options. There are plenty of ways to change your situation, whether it’s finding another position within your company or looking elsewhere. The important thing is to stop making excuses and do something—anything—to get yourself out of an unfulfilling career rut.
