Ever wondered what 1800 British troops felt when they saw a sea of Zulus warriors approaching, now you can through Battlefield Tours? Have you ever wondered how it feels to drag a sled 880 miles to the South Pole?
How could 2 ships and 129 men disappear without a trace in search of North-West Passage?
Step back in time to the days when the British and Zulu were warring against each other on this day trip from Durban.
Visit the Rorkes Drift and Isandlwana Battlefield Tours sites to learn about the 1879 Anglo-Zulu War that changed the course of South African history forever.
You also learn about the events that led up to that war for a better understanding of the country’s history.
As a master storyteller I share human stories which engage audiences and challenge the way they interact, work and lead their lives. My stories are essentially epics about human beings in extremis, and their behaviour when ‘The chips are down’. Like tea bags, human beings only reveal their true strength in hot water.
I am going to be sharing compelling short stories regarding South African history, both the Anglo-Zulu and Anglo-Boer wars, Antarctic and Arctic exploration along with more current matters.
