My Definition Of Success | It has changed over the years for myself. I grew up thinking success was all about money and fame, but now I realize that success to me is happiness. It’s not about the material things or money you gain along the way, it’s the love, the passion, and the joy you have in your life

I Am Driven By | Energy is the source. Feeling the rhythms of nature and the seasons drives me! This time of year I’m so excited to go ride in the southern hemisphere… It’s cooling down in Tahoe, and it’s time to get on the mountains on the other side of our earth! I feel so blessed and fortunate to be able to travel & connect, that I really want to take advantage of all the opportunities, and just go with the flow, and give thanks all the way!

My Highlights | I’m really proud of the way I was able to handle the whole Olympic experience…. It was by far one of the craziest years of my life! I was able to find balance through truly living for the moment, and not getting to over whelmed or attached to the outcome. I set the goal to win an Olympic gold (even though it was scary) and knew I was capable of achieving, but I had to let go, and trust. And know that everything is aligned, and truly out of my control! I practiced a lot of yoga, and meditation, and was on a healthy program going into the event, my mind-body-spirit connection felt really good, and I truly know what a different I feel when I’m connected with my highest self and living through inspiration.. It was an out of body experience, and something I’ll remember forever and have infinite gratitude for all the love and support along the way!

The Difference Between Good And Great | Passion. You really have to love what you do to be great!

A Key Talent | Passion and love for snowboarding and anything I’m dedicated to I feel is my strength. Start with loving yourself! Whatever you’re doing, don’t ever put yourself down, and constantly remind yourself how awesome you are! For me it’s all about finding balance and a strong rooted foundation. I loved doing anything active when I was younger (and still do)! , riding bikes, climbing trees and rocks, sledding, and eventually snowboarding. But just start small, and be patient, the talent will come. If you truly believe in yourself, you can do anything! I believe everything we do is 90% mental. We all have the capability, it’s a matter of if you believe of not. Set goals, write about your experience, have fun along the way, and always help each other out…

The Characteristics Of Success | Being grateful for all that I have, and finding ways to help and give back.. Growing up in a big family (one of eight) we learned to share and look out for each other from a young age… my sisters gave me their handmidowns so I could get into snowboarding, and my parents always encouraged us and supported us to do what we love! I have so much gratitude and a humble attitude, and I truly believe that has made a huge difference in my life, even with all the chaos going on, I try to stay grounded and always keep it real!

Principles I Live By | Love. Compassion. Power. Grace. Finding ways to give back, and be of service to others, and not only each other but also to our beautiful Mother Earth, being as conscious towards the environment as we can. And giving thanks for the beautiful home and resources we have!

Dealing With Doubt | We all have to deal with this kind of stuff. It’s an everyday practice. If we change the way we perceive situations, they don’t really have to negatively affect us. “Mind over matter, if you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter”! But I know it’s easier said than done, but the power of positivity and love, and light and feeding yourself healthy good affirmations, we can overcome even the hardest of times…

The Meaning Of Life | The circle of life! We are spiritual beings having a human experience. If we can connect to the Uniworld (the universal life of all creation) we don’t have to be sad or scared when our loved ones pass from the physical realm, if we can connect to all of life. The standing people, (trees) the stone people (rocks) The plants, the rivers, the animals, the insects, all of life. We truly are one.
