My Definition Of Success | Success to me means having the independence to be able to do what I wish to do when I want to do it.

I Am Driven By | I am driven by a competitive spirit.

My Highlights | The people who have benefited from our investment expertise and enjoyed a comfortable retirement.

The Difference Between Good And Great | First and foremost there is the passion about what they are doing but a critical ingredients are energy level (some people have more energy and sleep less) and focus.

A Key Talent | It may be that persistence has been my best ally. My advice to the youth is to find a career doing something you enjoy. Too many people hate their work. If you can find something you enjoy doing
You are likely to do it better than most. When you do something well (better than most) you will enjoy doing it. That will lead you to do it even better; this positive spiral is very satisfying to achieve. Very important to take the time and energy to find it .Also note my intellect or IQ is not particularly high.

The Characteristics Of Success | Self-discipline, planning, persistence, focus, independent thought (not following peers or consensus). Not concerning myself with the opinions of others.

Principles I Live By | Fairness .Treat others as you would be treated.

How I Use My Mind | Focus and ignore the opinions of others .Seek facts NOT opinions.

Lessons I Have Learnt | Time is a concept that most people find difficult to comprehend and therefore do not use wisely .At lots of different levels .Time is the most precious resource we have while here. Look after it and use it wisely .It is also the most important element in the compounding formula.

Dealing With Doubt | Everybody has doubts. I find the best way to deal with it is to research the facts. Understand the problem. Make a decision and live with it .Not making (or implementing) a decision allows the problem to drag and this is a debilitating condition .Pay and the pain goes away!

Performing At My Peak | Not possible to do.

Resources I Use To Stay Inspired | I enjoy reading biographies and get inspiration from them.

The Meaning Of Life | In simple biological terms it is Procreation.

Advice On Building Wealth | It takes time, so the sooner you start the better. It takes about ten years before a business is really established. Saving and compounding your returns takes longer. Read “The richest man in Babylon “.

On Inspiring Others | Provide them with a comfortable environment to do that which they enjoy doing.

The Legacy I Would Like To Leave | An investment house that continues to provide excellent wealth preservation and is the most respected investment house in the world.
