Greg R. Baird has been a lecturer, educator, novice filmmaker, and social advocate for LGBTQ+ civil rights for 29 years. His background began teaching performing arts, speech & theater to students of all ages.
He was awarded two years in higher education for excellence in teaching with, “Teacher of the Year”. His life and journey are filled with heartbreaking and inspiring stories that will leave your audience moved to be better humans and mentors in their communities.

He has a dedicated and inspired following on social media and produces a weekly vlog on YouTube about his life, career, travels, and his food seasoning business, Gregger’s Seasoning.

Greg R. Baird worked as Executive Producer of a documentary about the gay hate murder of University of Wyoming college student, Matthew Shepard. A topic that Greg often speaks about.
He also directed and edited his own short memorial film titled, “2:02 AM” about the timeline of the Pulse Nightclub shooting. The film shares Greg’s experience at Pulse on three different visits while filming.
The short film has been viewed across the globe virtually and in person during his lecture program on Erasing Hate and Bigotry.
Current legislation is affecting the LGBTQ+ community, as they continue to face discrimination in their daily lives. More states are drafting and passing laws targeting transgender and non-binary people. It’s more important than ever to book Greg R. Baird for your next event.

In the summer of 2018, Greg was the keynote speaker at Aetna Insurance in Hartford, Connecticut for their Signature Pride Event. He can be seen in a documentary titled, “Fish Out of Water” which explores what the Bible really says about being LGBTQ+.
He is acknowledged for contributing to Dr. Ruth Westheimer’s book, A Guide to College Life. Greg is mentioned in Liliane Colburn’s book; The Green Room; A Mother’s Truth and also contributed a few stories in the books Tell Me About It 2: LGBTQ Secrets, Confessions, and Life Stories and Tell Me About It 3 by historians of LGBTQ life, St Sukie de la Croix and Owen Keehnen
In January 2020, Greg delivered a powerful keynote address at the Rotary World Peace Conference in Ontario, CA to help create lasting change, acceptance, and peace for LGBTQ+ communities around the world.
He is currently writing a powerful biography about stories from his life. Greg’s biography will be a journey of his life spanning his childhood, career & so much more!

This program will inspire and motivate the entire audience on how the power of one person can create change. The lecture will include LGBTQ+ current topics of rising above the hate against the transgender and non-binary communities to embracing peace, diversity & inclusion.
I will share stories and insightful information on how all of us can be supportive allies in our workplace and community incorporating pronouns and education. The lecture will inspire the audience to create change personally and within their own communities.
This is a multi-media lecture and focuses on the many unique events from my own life and the incredible people who are making positive changes in our challenging world.
Community, acceptance, and inclusion are now more important in our country than ever. This multimedia lecture will discuss and engage the audience on hate & bigotry in our community, schools, work, and the internet.
Greg R. Baird will also have a conversation about the shooting at Pulse Night Club on June 12, 2016, which left 49 dead and 53 injured.
This will also include a short film directed and edited by Greg R. Baird titled “2:02 A.M.”
The lecture will share how we can be proactive to heal, educate and embrace inclusion.
