About Marlette:

As a Keynote Speaker, I take you on a journey into the mountains as if you were there with me, and I inspire you to overcome challenges and achieve your goals.

I use my experiences enduring extreme challenges as a metaphor for life, imparting to you valuable lessons and memorable stories, which you can draw on when you face your own challenges.

I am unique as a female speaker speaking about a male dominated sport – mountaineering – while bringing a personal tone to my talk.

I have had unique experiences in the mountains, having climbed 6 of the 7 summits, and was on the SA team climbing Everest when the avalanche struck base camp on 25 April 2015. I have also overcome severe personal challenges which I share in my presentation, and enables people to connect with me as a real person with my own real struggles.
